Dr Tyge-F. Kummer is an Associate Professor in the School of Accountancy at the Queensland University of Technology. He has previously held appointments at Griffith University, Humboldt University of Berlin, ESCP Business School, European School of Management and Technology (ESMT Berlin), and Freie Universität Berlin.
Tyge’s expertise combines Information Systems and Accounting. His research primarily focuses on technological innovations and how they can support judgement and decision-making within organisational settings, as well as related psychological and behavioural aspects. He has gained work experience in the pharmaceutical industry and conducted research projects with industry partners including Woolworths, Australia Post, and the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community (Germany).
Tyge has published books on management accounting and user acceptance. Additionally, he has authored over 50 publications, with his work featured in renowned journals such as the Journal of the Association for Information Systems, the European Journal of Information Systems, Decision Support Systems, and Information & Management.
