Dr Maria Kaya is an award-winning researcher and educator at QUT focusing on the adoption and diffusion of innovations and sustainability across technologies and durable products. She serves on the editorial board of the Australian Journal of Management (Q1) and has received best paper and reviewer awards at leading national and international conferences. She is currently the Study Area Coordinator for the HRM Postgraduate degree at the Faculty of Business and Law, where she plays a key role in shaping innovative curriculum development, and student experience.
Prior to her academic career, Maria worked as a consultant at IBM for several years, helping to ensure her research and teaching remain closely aligned with industry practice.
