David M. Herold is a logistics and supply chain researcher with a focus on the mechanisms and dynamics of digital and sustainable operations. In 2018, he was awarded a PhD from Griffith University and is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Queensland University of Technology in Brisbane, Australia.
Prior to his academic career, he gained experience in the global supply chain and logistics industry and worked as a Financial Analyst in Germany and as a Country Operations Manager in Austria for FedEx Express, a Fortune 500 logistics company.
